Post 15 - Audience response

What does this teach us?

By collating a response from an audience questionnaire we have learnt that most people prefer the Indie, acoustic and pop genre. This response works in our favor as our music genre we are focusing on is indie rock. Also we have learnt that a music video with narrative is more appealing than just a performance of the artist which fans see a lot of at gigs, festivals and performances. A narrative performance creates a more intimate connection between the audience and the artist. Our audience response also showed that our focused genre is is alternative to popular culture, their music videos and other promotions aren't taken too seriously. We can learn from this is the way we create our product and in the way we promote it.
